Emma Georgiou is an Executive Coach, Consultant and Trainer. She chose to study for a diploma in Transformative Coaching and is now an EMCC Accredited Coach.

About Emma Georgiou Coaching

Based in Oxford, Emma has been coaching professionally since 2019 and works with individuals on a 1:2:1 basis and with companies, either online or face-to-face. Her multi-faceted work allows clients to experience change in all areas of their lives.

Background

Shortly after Emma launched her coaching career in 2019, COVID-19 came along, and the new business had to take a back seat for a while. At the end of 2022, Emma finished the contract she’d taken on during the pandemic and reestablished Emma Georgiou Coaching in early 2023.

At this point, whilst she was happy with her existing branding and logo, she wanted to build a new website to promote the business and give her better access to the content. “I couldn’t get into the Content Management System (CMS) in my old website, which was frustrating,” remembers Emma.

My previous web developer did a great job, but she was a very busy person, and it was hard to get hold of her about changes I needed to make; for example, I wanted to update the photos of me on the site as they were pretty old! The business itself has also evolved since I set it up in 2022. In light of that, I felt it was time to find a new provider.”

Emma met Phil Revill of it’seeze Warwick & Redditch at a networking event in Spring 2023 and immediately decided she wanted to work with him. Rather than taking the time to source quotes from other companies, Emma went with her instinct as she felt comfortable with Phil and liked the transparency and clarity of the it’seeze website design offering.

Solution and Process

As Emma was happy with her current branding and had already had some new professional photography done, all the it’seeze web designers needed was the written copy to get to work on the new site. Keen to get everything up and running ASAP, Emma managed to complete the content whilst on holiday over the summer of 2023. Phil then arranged for a copywriter to give it a quick check through before handing it over to the design team.

Emma had clear ideas about the look and feel of the new website and wanted a clean, fresh design to reflect her brand identity and create a professional, but friendly, impression. The it’seeze designers came up with the goods and Emma was so pleased with first draft that only a few minor amendments were required.

The whole process was quite quick and the site was up and running within a month from the briefing meeting,” says Emma. “Everything was straightforward and if I had any questions, Phil was on hand to help out. The end result was exactly what I had in mind for my new website and is a great reflection of my personal ethos and approach to coaching.”

The Emma Georgiou Coaching site was built using the it’seeze Max package, which offers an unlimited number of pages after the initial ones have been created. There’s also a built-in blog, which Emma has just started using. As you’d expect, there are integrated social media buttons linking to Emma’s Facebook and LinkedIn pages, plus a wealth of other integration options that could be added in future, such as Eventbrite, Mailchimp, Trustpilot and many more. The site was fully optimised for SEO at the development and launch stages.

One of the features Emma likes most about her new website is the easy access to Website Editor, the it’seeze CMS. “It’s intuitive and simple to use, and there are lots of videos showing you how to make different changes and updates, like adding new pages and uploading blog articles,” comments Emma. “Phil showed me how to use Website Editor when the site first went live and I now feel confident about making changes on my own. Having said that, I know Phil is just a phone call away if I need any help.”

Results

Emma now has the up to date, professional looking website she was looking for – and has already had positive comments on the new site from clients and contacts. A member of one her networking groups even wanted to know who built the site as they were so impressed with how it looks.

For Emma, the main aim of the site is to act as a virtual brochure and provide validation around her and her coaching services, rather than as a lead magnet or sales piece. However, she will of course be pleased to receive enquiries and leads that result directly from people finding the site on Google or elsewhere.

Emma concludes: “I’m very pleased with my new website and would be happy to recommend Phil and it’seeze Warwick & Redditch to any other local business looking for a new or refreshed website.”
